The CAG report reveals the anomaly of the nutritional diet in Madhya Pradesh, shown fake invoices

Bopal: The CAG report opened a can of worms in a project to distribute nutritious nutrition, which is intended for the health of pregnant women and children in Madhya Pradesh. The nutritional diet not only does not achieve these needy women and children, but also fake invoices are prepared in their name with the convenience of many civil servants.

Compotrollers and auditor General of India (CAG) have already raised serious questions about the sales process. In the study, it was found that this diet was delivered by bicycle, authorscha and damaged cars. It was shown that several quintals of the nutritional diet are delivered by these vehicles. After disclosing the matter, however, the state government issued six joint directors.

How did it happen?

The mother mortality and the child mortality rate in Madhya Pradesh are very high. The then Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan even called these numbers a “stigma” for the state. Pregnant women, children up to 3 years old and women took care of children every month. The diet was delivered to more than 48 Lakh children and women in the state.

This diet is produced in six plants in Shivpuri, Sagar, Mandla, Dhar, Rewa and Bari in the state. Then it is sent to different districts, but the irregularities start from here.

773 tons were delivered by motorcycle

The CAG report has stated that “the food foods are sent to the districts by these plants. When the CAG team examined the invoices in connection with the transport of food food, a large number of them were determined when the CAG team was found It was judged that the “fake supply” of 773 tons of food was shown.

The share was not available on the date on which the delivery of 773 tons of nutritional food was shown. According to the CAG, the Department of Women and Child Development said that “an office error occurred in this area”. The department gave the new number of vehicles used in transport. When these vehicle numbers were examined, it was found that many of these numbers belong to bicycles, cars and cars. Many of these vehicles were convicted, while several quintal of food foods were proven by these vehicles.

Information issued after disclosure

On the other hand, the Committee on Public Accounts of the Assembly applied for a response from the Department of Women and Child Development after this disclosure. The main secretary of the department has published all six joint directors in this matter and applied for an answer. The chairman of the committee for public accounts, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, said: “The department asked civil servants whether those who were responsible for the irregularities identified and what measures were taken against them.” In this question, the department of Department Nirmala Bhuria said: “The meeting committee has to decide on this matter. Measures are taken in the investigation in accordance with the facts.”
